PRS – Finance is a local search firm headquartered in Maitland, FL. We specialize in recruiting Accounting & Finance professional across all verticals in the Central Florida area. Our area of focus spans from Tampa to Melbourne and everything in between.

When we interview candidates we go above and beyond the usual staffing firm process of just searching and posting on job boards. We take it much further by creating a targeted plan for each of our clients and candidates. As a client, we will start with an initial phone call to discuss your company, hiring needs and goals for the position. We will listen to what you’re looking for and ask questions to make sure we understand exactly who you need to find. We will go through a detailed list of questions which include things such as desired skill set, background, compensation, motivations and company atmosphere.
Each day our team of recruiters are interviewing accounting and finance professionals, in Central Florida, who are either ready to make a change or would consider a great opportunity. We go through a detailed process with each person to make sure we understand their motivations, skill set and goals. We are constantly updating and building our network.
Once we’ve determined that we are, in fact, the right firm for your search we will set up an in person meeting. This is a quick 15 minute meeting, which allows us to see your office location, the working environment and the team with whom the chosen person will be working with. This is a crucial recruitment tool.
We will then reach out to our network in Central Florida to identify candidates whose motivations, goals and skill set align with what you’re looking for. We provide them with all the details about the opportunity and work to determine if the position is the right for them. We will then recommend our top 1-3 candidates for your position. This includes their resume, notes from our interview and why we think they would be a good fit in this role.
At this point, we will coordinate the interviews with each of the candidates and provide feedback along the way. Once we have identified the right person we will guide both sides through the offer negotiation process.
Our job is to act as a professional matchmaker on behalf of both our clients and candidates. We work to find out what both sides are looking for and do our best to make a long term match.
Your experience with PRS will start with an initial phone call (prescreen) to discuss the basics of your job search. We will ask questions about your work experience, motivations, desires, location preferences and compensation. At this point we will determine if we feel we are the right firm to help with your search. If we are, we’ll set up an in person meeting where we will spend about 30 minutes, in our Maitland office, going through your resume in more detail, getting to know you and discussing current and future opportunities. This is the most crucial part of our recruiting process. This meeting allows us to truly get to know you and determine how our clients will fit your needs.
We receive new opportunities from our clients each week. Once we’ve identified a position that we feel fits what you’re looking for we will reach out to discuss the details. We will share all the details about the opportunity with you (the job description, org chart, our notes from speaking with the client and benefits). If together we determine it makes sense to pursue this opportunity, we will present your information to the hiring person for the position. We will then have a meeting with the hiring manager on your behalf. During this meeting we will make the hiring manager aware of your goals, background, experiences and strengths. We will also share your resume and our notes from our in person meeting.
On both sides, client and candidate, we are focused on being as transparent as possible. Providing as much detail as possible in the beginning is the most efficient way of successfully matching the “right” people with the “right” companies.
If the client agrees with our recommendation, we will set up an initial interview. We will do our best to prepare you for the interview by making sure you know who you’ll be meeting with, how to get there and what to expect during the interview. We will also provide you with an interview prep guide to help you prepare for the meeting.
After the interview we will provide you with feedback on how the client felt the interview went. We will also provide the client with notes on how you felt it went as well. If both parties agree we will work toward negotiating an offer.
Direct Hire:
Direct Hire positions are classified as a “permanent” opportunity with our client. At PRS, we make the connection between the client and the candidate.
Temp:
A Temp position is a solution in which we will hire a temporary employee to help with a specific project or augment the current staff for our client. A contract position can be as short or long as the project requirements dictate.
Temp-to-hire:
A contract-to-hire position varies from a contract position in that both the candidate and the client have the opportunity to decide if they would like to engage in full time employment after the contract period is over.
Payroll Services:
If you already know the candidate and would like to bring them on without incurring the load and burden of a direct hire employee, PRS offers payroll services.
